Throughout the third quarter of 2022, the top five food and diet tracking apps in the United Kingdom demonstrated varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting trends and insights for each application.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter experienced a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting from $256K and ending at approximately $206K. Weekly downloads also showed a downward trend, falling from 28.6K to 16.4K. Active users fluctuated, peaking at around 1.1M in early July before dropping to 857K by the end of September.

Calorie Counter + saw a decrease in weekly revenue from $191K to about $146K. Weekly downloads showed a similar downward pattern, starting at 24.6K and ending at 16.6K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 132K throughout the quarter.
